Please note that site visits and project work occur outside these hours. Studio hours are for consultations, material viewing, and administrative matters.
Initial consultations typically last 45 minutes to an hour. We'll discuss your project goals, timeline expectations, and budget parameters. If possible, bring photos of your space and any inspiration images you've collected.
For renovation inquiries, we often schedule a site visit within the week following our initial meeting. This allows us to provide accurate quotes based on your property's specific conditions.
While our studio is based in Fitzroy, we take on projects throughout metropolitan Melbourne and select regional areas. Most of our current work is concentrated in the inner north, inner east, and bayside suburbs.
We've successfully completed projects as far as Geelong, the Mornington Peninsula, and the Yarra Valley. For projects outside Melbourne's metropolitan area, we assess feasibility based on project scope and our current workload.
No. First meetings at our studio or brief site visits to assess feasibility are complimentary. Detailed site assessments for quote preparation may incur a fee, which is credited toward your project if you proceed.
Simple updates like painting or flooring can be scheduled within weeks and completed in days. Full renovations typically require 2-3 months from consultation to completion, though complex projects may extend longer.
We work with trusted trades who understand our quality standards, but we're open to incorporating specialists you've worked with previously. Material selection is flexible, though we provide guidance on performance and suitability.
Most projects follow a staged payment structure: deposit on contract signing, progress payments at key milestones, and final payment on completion. We outline the full schedule in our proposal so there are no surprises.
Yes. We maintain current building licenses, public liability insurance, and workers compensation coverage. Documentation is available on request and is included in all project contracts.
Life happens. If you need to pause work, we assess what stage we're at and determine the best holding point. You're only charged for completed work plus any materials already ordered specifically for your project.
